i like this book because it is scary. this book is about two children that get told stories by a sailor that was from the black ship. Even though I haven't finnished reading it I feel that it is highly entertianing and spooky. 8 out of 10

when i read the back of the book i thought it was going to be an interesting book esspecialy when i saw the front cover but when i stared reading it the whole book turned out to be boring. it was absoulutly not the type of of book i like to read. i think it could have been better than how it is now 1 out of 10

This book could have been improved by a alot, i found the book dull, boring and i didnt understand it. It said it was going to be scary but for me it wasnt, if the book was aimed at teenage kids I would rate it a 4/10 however if this was aimed at younger kids aged 8-9 then it would of been more intresting and scarier for the youngers. overall i vote it a 6 and i wont be voting it in the book awards . it just didnt do it for me :( 6 out of 10
